Paul Boc, 94, passed away on January 17, 2019. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mary, and his brothers Joe and Ian "Jon". He was a loving husband to the late Genevieve. He is survived by his loving children Brian, Bruce (Cheryl Lando) and the late Gary (Marlene Fugate), his adoring grandchildren Diana Michelle, Deborah, Tracy (Tom Kuhns), Stephanie (Jake Lange), Jonathan (Heather) and the late Jeanine, his beloved great grandchildren Freddie, Michael, Megan, Owen, Jordan, Jayce, Jaxson, Brianna, Matthew, Jessica, Andrew, Samantha and Madison; and his very special great great grandchildren Isis, Ivy and Desmond; he was a wonderful uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was born in South Milwaukee in 1924 and raised in Chicago. He attended high school at Lane Tech and took college courses at Wilbur Wright College. He was a proud Sargent in the United States Army Air Force and a veteran of World War II. He was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan and lived in the Wrigley Field Area. He was a member of the Moose Lodge as well as the Holy Nativity Romanian Church. One of his favorite pastimes was fishing. Visitation will be held Friday, January 25, 2018 at Drake and Son Funeral Home, 5303 N Western Avenue, Chicago IL 60625 from 4-9pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 26, 2018 at 11am. Interment at Rosehill Cemetery with military honors to follow immediately after service.
