Rachelle J. Turano-Wojcik

Rachelle J. Turano Wojcik, formerly of Norridge, IL., currently of Chicago, IL., passed away on December 29th at the age of 62. Rachelle was born April 24, 1952 to Oreste & Arlene Turano in Chicago, IL. She was the wife of Anthony Wojcik. Sister to Jean Turano Thiemeyer and Robert Turano (Rosa Arnieri Turano). Rachelle was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephew Erin Thiemeyer Olech (Justin Olech); Devin Thiemeyer; Nicole Leick Filantres (Adam Filantres); and Daniel Turano. A great-aunt to Reed and Nate Thiemeyer and dearest cousin and friend to many. Her lifetime commitment to Tony, her husband, was the center of her heart and marriage. Rachelle was a proud member of the Chicago Police Department. She was a retired detective since 2011. Visitation will be at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 N. Milwaukee Ave., Friday, January 2, from 3-8pm. Funeral Saturday, January 3, 9am from Malec & Sons Funeral Home to a 10am mass at St. Eugene Church. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery 1400 S.
