

Radames Alvarado, lovingly known as “Caly,” age 74, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 2, 2025.
Caly was born on December 21st in Puerto Rico, where he began a life filled with adventure, hard work, and a deep love for family and friends.
He will be remembered for his warm heart, quick humor, and endless stories that brought laughter and connection to those around him. Caly had a great passion for traveling, fishing, and working on cars, and he loved sharing his experiences with anyone who would listen.
Caly’s greatest joy came from the people he loved. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara, his granddaughters, Cristine and Melissa, and his great-grandsons, Julio and Javier. He also shared a great love and companionship with Gloria Williams, whose presence brought comfort and happiness to his life.
A Memorial Service celebrating Caly’s life will be held on Friday, November 14th, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Montclair Funeral Home; 6901 West Belmont Ave

Caly’s memory will live on through the stories he told, the laughter he sparked, and the love he shared with all who knew him.
