

Raymond Schatzman, age 67, passed away on December 10, 2020. Ray was preceded in death by his mother, Joan, nee Muldowney, father Robert, sister Marietta, twin brother Marty, and sister-in-law, Barb; Survived by his sisters Joan and Liz Reagan (Bill); brothers Paul and Dan (Kathy); beloved niece, Courtney Crawford (Bill); nephews Kevin (Grace) and Patrick (Alyssa) Reagan, Jack Schatzman (Alison), and Michael and Bill Schatzman; grand nieces Millie and Maeve; grand nephew, Will; 31 first cousins and numerous friends from the old neighborhood, Little Flower parish. Ray was born October 10, 1953. He graduated Little Flower High School in 1971. He worked for many years at the Chicago Board of Options. He and his brother, Paul, devoted much of their lives caring for their parents. Ray was the go-to person for the history of Little Flower High School. He could tell you who was related to who, what year they graduated, and where they live now. Ray was a devout White Sox fan, from a White Sox logo tattooed on his ankle, to his White Sox World Series replica ring. Ray had a passion for gardening, knitting, cooking, and numerous animals throughout his life. Christmas was his favorite holiday. Ray was artistic, warm hearted, and generous. He will be missed by all of us. Private services will be held at this time, but a public Memorial is being planned for the future to celebrate Raymond’s life.
