Ricardo A. Perez-Machado

Ricardo A. Perez-Machado, age 67, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Adoring son of Estergidio and Beatris Perez-Machado; beloved husband of Radmila Perez-Machado; loving step-father of Lily and Nikola Stojanovich; cherished grandfather of Stefan and Sofia Marjanovic; dear brother of Marcelo, Fabian, and Graciela.

Ricardo was a stoic man that simply loved life and the people in it, especially his family. He started out in Argentina loving his culture, music, food, and family. Education was important to him that he carried throughout most of his life. From a psychology degree in Argentina, to a master’s in education in the United States, Ricardo always was learning to better improve himself. Cancer dealt a huge blow in his life but didn’t deter his passion to live life to the fullest. Ricardo loved to dance, listen to music, enjoyed watching movies with his grandchildren, cooking and of course joking. All of which he always had his family around to enjoy his passions. He was the voice of reason in any conflict and provided a bright light in any dark situation. He had a joke or funny anecdote to breakup any tensions. He was loved and adored by so many. Cancer took away a lot but could not extinguish Ricardo’s spirit and bright light. Ricardo was and will always be loved and missed!
