Richard Joseph Jakob, 77, of Chicago IL, passed away on January 3rd 2025. Richard was born on May 27th 1947. We thank him for his service in the U.S. Navy during his youth. In life he enjoyed fishing, golf, camping and cooking among many other things. He passed along his love of sports and cars to his son, as well as his mechanical aptitude. He is preceded by his mother Helen, father Henry, and beloved stepfather James. He is survived by his son Richard John Jakob, brother Hank, sister-in-law Jeri, nephew Matt, and ex-wife Joanne.
