Rita was a hard worker raising four children as a single parent. She worked as a waitress first at Pandee’s (The Pan of Gold) then at The Oak Tree on Rush Street where she met many famous people. She had a lot of good friends over the years. She outlived three of her four children
She is survived by her daughter Diane, nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and five great, great- grandchildren.
She was especially close to her grandson Michael Randall who lived with her and cared for her for ten years before she needed more full-time care than he could give her while working full-time.
Her last years were good ones due to the dedication of her granddaughter Lonnie and great-granddaughter Deborah who cared for her lovingly and diligently.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.Montclair-LucaniaFuneral.com for the Randall family.
