Rose P. Boghosian

She was born June 3, 1925, in New York City, daughter of the late Garabed and Mariam Palakian.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Casper Boghosian. She is survived by two sons, Alan Boghosian (Karen) and Robert Boghosian (Carol Peligian); one daughter, Alice Boghosian; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

She worked for the United States Air Force Reserve for 30 years. After retiring, she enjoyed volunteering at the Park Ridge library. Her hobbies were knitting, gardening, baking, and spending time with family.

A visitation for Rose will be held Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 North Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646. A funeral service will occur Monday, August 23, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Gregory Armenian Church, 6700 W. Diversey Ave., Chicago, IL 60707. Interment will follow at Forest Home Cemetery, 863 Des Plaines Ave, Forest Park, IL 60130. A luncheon will follow at Café Lucci 609 Milwaukee Ave, Glenview, IL 60025.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. James Armenian Church, 816 N. Clark St. Evanston, IL 60201.
