I can hear him now. Take out your B. O. O. K and yes he said each letter. I had him the year the space shuttle crashed and we were watching it live in class. I know now how hard it must have been to redirect his class. He was a class act. My prayers are with his family during this time.

I was one of Mr. Kulpinski's students (Lincoln Jr High '81&'82). What fond memories I have of him. It says volumes that when word of his passing spread around the Lincoln /Dolton groups everyone had the same good memories of him. As others of said, he did a lot of good on this earth. Thank You Mr. K and RIP.

Sorry to hear about Roy's passing. Sending prayers to the Kulpinski Family to help get thru this difficult time.
Will never forget the kindness Roy and Louise gave when they helped with a Benefit for my brother Bill Davies. Touched my heart. Such goodness they showed my family.
Keep the memories in your hearts to help with your loss.

Mr. K., one of my most favorite teachers at Lincoln Jr. High. He called me "Lashes Bechely" cuz of my long lashes, but probably because there were alot of Kathy's 🙂 R.I.P. Mr. K.

Russ and I both had the privilege of working with Roy for many years at Lincoln School. Russ was additionally blessed because Roy was Russ's teacher when Russ went to Lincoln. He was extremely funny, loving and kind. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.

Roy was such a caring, funny, considerate man. I grew up across the street from the Kulpinski family and remember Roy and Louise as such a loving couple who were always there to help any neighbor in need. Every time my mom returned home after a hip or knee replacement, Roy made a “welcome home” poster for her door. When my mom was elderly and homebound, Roy stopped by every Sunday with donuts and the church bulletin. He frequently just stopped off to talk and entertain her with his usual humor. My condolences to the Kulpinski Family.

Had Mr. K. for a science teacher at Lincoln Jr. High in Dolton. I always felt honored when he tasked me with handing out the "lumber" (his word for a ruler). One of the most memorable people in my life for sure. I know that everyone he touched has fond memories of him. My deepest condolences to the Kulpinski family. The world is now short one great man indeed. God bless 🙏

My sympathy to the family. Mr. “K” is a teacher I remember very clearly from my Junior high years at Lincoln. He was just starting his teaching career then, and I am sure we were often a challenge to him. Like the unit on water pressure that only two students managed to pass the test! But he made sure everyone understood it better before we moved on.

Had Mr. K for science at Lincoln Jr. High in Dolton. He was so silly and his classes were aways so much fun. I still say bottle the way he did..he loved to make funny words.
