Rudy M. Gabor

Rudy Gabor was born on Jan. 20, 1938, in Youngstown, Ohio. Rudy and Pasita Gabor were married for 58 years. Loving father and father-in-law of Montgomery, Cliff and Anita Gabor. Loving grandfather of Gabriel and Jake Gabor. Rudy passed Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020. Rudy’s life was filled with music, and his ebullient personality was well suited to his career as a musician and entertainer.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 8th, 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Malec and Sons Funeral Home, 6000 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago. Please be understanding that due to the pandemic, we will be rotating groups of 10 people at a time to spend time with the Gabor Family. Guests are required to wear masks at all times.

Mass of Christian burial Saturday, January 9th, 10:30 a.m. at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 2330 W. Sunnyside Ave., Chicago. Due to the current restrictions at the church, The Mass of Christian Burial has a limited capacity. As of January 7th, the Mass of Christian Burial is already at capacity. Please join in honoring Rudy and comforting his family at the Visitation. Interment following the Mass at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery, 6800 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles.
