Santa C. Wood, age 81 of Chicago, widow of Charles Wood, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family-sons Charles (Kimberly) Wood and Joseph (Diana) Wood, and dearest grandchildren Zac, Charlie, Austin, Faith, and Joey. Hockey mom to many, a door that was always open to family, friends, or perhaps the random dog her son's brought home to her, will be truly missed and remembered by the many people's lives she was a part of.
A visitation for Santa will be held Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 North Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646. A committal & interment will occur Friday, April 8, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162. A mass of christian burial will occur Friday, April 8, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at St. Francis Borgia Roman Catholic Church, 8033 W Addison St, Chicago, IL 60634.
