Sean B. Murtaugh, age 50, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021. Sean was born September 23, 1970. Loving father to Keely Murtaugh (Nick); Grandpa to Rocco; Cherished son to Kathleen and the late Bernard Murtaugh; Dear brother to Patrick (the late Kathleen), Michael (Rose), and Erin (Steve) Sanchez; Beloved uncle to Mary Ellen, Michelle, Emily, Daniel and Michael; A great friend, cousin, and nephew to many. Sean was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters.
A visitation for Sean will be held Friday, September 24, 2021 from 4:00pm until 9:00pm at Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home, 10727 S. Pulaski Rd., Chicago, IL 60655. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 9:30 AM at St. Bede the Venerable, 8200 S Kostner Ave,, Chicago, IL 60652. Interment to immediately follow.
