Sherwin Robert Mueller, 83 of Chicago passed away on Thursday December 9, 2010 at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, Illinois. Born in Chicago on Sunday February 13, 1927 to Robert and Alma (née Sieloff) Mueller. Mr. Mueller was a United States Navy Veteran as well as Retired Chicago Police Officer. Beloved husband of Helen née Comfort; devoted father of Terry (Sherry) Mueller, Robert Mueller and Kathy (Tom) Jones; loving grandfather of Cory, Greg, Kim (Jason), Katie and the late Michael; cherished great grandfather of Lindsey, Michael, and Kylie; fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday December 12, 2010 from 2:00pm until 6:00pm with a 5:00pm service at The Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home 6901 W. Belmont Avenue Chicago. Cremation will be held privately. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Smile Train appreciated.
