Sophie V. Wozny (nee Kicmal), of East Dundee, formerly of Chicago, passed away November 9, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. Loving mother of Bruce (Cindy) Wozny, the late Mark (Jan) Wozny, Carol (Al Johnson) Wozny-Johnson, Susan (the late Bernie) Smolenski, Cindy (Eddie) Allison, the late Stephen Wozny, Laura "Nicole" Leahy; devoted grandmother of Bruce Jr., Jeannine, Mark D. (Kasia), Jeffery (Regina), Eric (Crystal), Michael (Jill), Joel (Sarah) John (Johanna), Stephen, Jennifer (Adam), Tina, Heather, Erin, Jack (Sahra), Kelly, Alex, Teddy, and Lexi, and 16 great-grandchildren; adored aunt of Barbara Pasternack, John Kicmal, Bobby Kicmal, Michael Kicmal, and Kenny Kicmal; dear life partner and companion of the late Victor Eiden.
Visitation 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, November 14th at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home 6901 W. Belmont Avenue, Chicago. Celebration of Life Service Friday, November 15th 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
