Born February 9th, 1933 in Bodzow, Poland, Stella grew up on the family farm just outside Krakow, Poland. She had two brothers, Leon Zak (deceased) and Jan Zak. She married Frank Blazej (deceased) in 1953. They had two children while living in Poland, Walter and Helen. In 1960 the family moved to the United States where Frank and Stella welcomed their third child, Christina (deceased).
Stella lived a full life working, taking care of the family and raising her children. Over the years she became a treasured Babcia (Grandma) to Alison (Phil), Joseph (Anita), Matthew, Eric (Zhanna), Melissa (Blake), Kyle and Kenzie. And a beloved Pra-Babcia (Great-Grandma) to Joselyn, Evan, Noah, Olivia, Wes and Alexander.
She was the heart of our family surrounding us all with endless love, Polish feasts and a constant smile.
Mama, Babcia, Pra-Babcia will live on in our hearts and memories forever.
