Suzanne L. Green

Suzanne L. Green, age 82, passed away on Thursday, August 10th, 2023. She is survived by her loving children: James (Brenda) Simmonds and Hope (William) Welsh; cherished grandchildren: David (Lindsey) Simmonds, Renee (Aron) Synder, Jon (Lauren) Simmonds, Brianna (Eric Koshmider) Luckett, Joseph Luckett, Nicholas Welsh and Christopher (Payton Davis) Welsh; beloved great grandchildren: Devon, Sadie, Tessa, Landon, Finleigh, Rilee Jo, Skylar, Eric Jr. and Robert.

Preceded in death by her parents: Harlan and Louise Hunt; husbands: Pete Simmonds and love of her life, Charlie Green; brother, James Hunt.

Suzanne worked for Little Company of Mary for 25 years. Devout in her faith, she served as Eucharistic Minister for many years at Disciples of Christ Church and St. Christina’s Catholic Church. She also served as choir director and Deaconess at Disciples of Christ. Suzanne loved to play piano and read mystery books. She especially loved to spend time with her beautiful family. Suzanne will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 26th, 2023, 10:30 A.M. at Andrew J. McGann Funeral Home, 10727 South Pulaski Road, Chicago, Illinois. Rev. Ryan Brady officiating. Visitation will take place from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at 10:30 A.M. Interment to follow at Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park in Willow Springs, Illinois.
