Teresa J Dzieciol

It is with deep sadness we mourn the passing of Teresa Dzieciol. She was a caring and devoted wife for 59 years to Julius, who proceeded her in death on July 10th of this year. Teresa was devoted to her children, Grace (John) D'Astice, Charles (Donna) Dzieciol and the late Andrew Dzieciol. She was Babcia to Yvonne (Frederick) Muellner, Teresa and Diana D'Astice as well as Great-Grandmother to Anthony and James. Teresa was a dear daughter to Henry and Victoria (nee Malinowski) Derewonko. She will be missed by her surviving sister, Barbara Marcinkiewicz and was proceeded in death by Diane (Stanley) Wasilewski and Mitchell Derewonko. She was a beloved sister-in-law to Stella (Mitchell) Sygiel.

Teresa was a cherished Aunt and cousin to many. She will be remembered by her love, kindness, compassion and generosity. Her hands were rarely still. Whether working in her garden, sewing or cooking traditional Polish meals, she shared her love with her family and friends. Her life is a living example of the Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 - "And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God forgave you in Christ".

Teresa will be missed by all she touched with her love and generosity.

A memorial service for Teresa will be held Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 9:30 AM at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, Illinois 60646. Following the memorial service will be a graveside service at 10:30 AM at St Adalbert Cemetery, 6800 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, Illinois 60714.
