Teresa Mis (Baran) died Thursday, December 30, 2021 peacefully at age 67. Daughter of Zofia and Jan Baran, she was born in Otfinow, Poland and emigrated to the United States in 1976. She met Edward Mis in 1976 and married in 1982. Sister of Krystyna Gawrys and Jozef Baran, whom passed in years 2020 and 2008. Mother of Monica (Matthew) Balogh and Karolina (Michael) Lucki, she raised her children on the Northwest side of Chicago before moving to Des Plaines. Beloved Babcia of Sophia (3) and Layla (1) and will be forever remembered for the selfless and eternal love she had for her family and friends.
