Terrence J. O'Brien U.S. Navy Veteran and retired Battalion Chief, Chicago Fire Department. Beloved husband of Diana (nee Graham) High School Sweetheart, Loving father of the late Timothy, Terri Lynne (John McCollam CFD Ret.), The late Tracy, Jennifer (Steve Blahusiak). Devoted grandfather of 12, great-grandfather of 4. Dear brother of the late Michael, Judy (The late Jerry Cunningham CFD Ret) Kevin CFD Ret. (Donna), Karen (Bill Dorman), the late James (Blanche), John, the late Garett (Kelly) and the late Billy. Fond uncle and friend to many. Member of the Gaelic Fire Brigade and B.O.B.

A visitation will held on Friday June 11, 2021 at Andrew J. McGann and Son Funeral Home 10727 S. Pulaski Rd Chicago, from 3:00P.M. until 9:00P.M. Chapel Prayers will be held at Andrew J. McGann and Son Funeral Home at 9:00A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow Saturday June 12, 2021 at St. Christina Catholic Church 3342 W. 111th Street Chicago at 9:30A.M. Interment to follow at Saint Mary Cemetery.

I met Terry when he was assigned to FMS2 in the early 70's. He was always fun to be around.
We both worked in all sections of the city. We stayed in touch all of these years. After retiring, we would see each other in Ft. Myers and Vegas.
A great guy. He was a great attribute to the CFD.
He will be missed.
Rest In Peace, Terry.
