Our Lord, Jesus Christ, welcomed Terri Janine Calcitrai (Fiedorowicz) into His Kingdom when she passed away peacefully, alongside her husband, son, and daughter.
Born on March 31, 1952, in Lille, France, Terri entered the world as Thérèse Janine. At around five years old, she immigrated to the United States with her family, beginning a new chapter of life in a new country. As she grew, she embraced her new home while carrying with her the strength and resilience that would define her life. Through hard work and perseverance, Terri, as everyone knows her, grew in her Catholic faith and created lasting friendships.
Those who knew her will always remember her vibrant passions. She possessed a boundless faith to God and the Blessed Mother. She could often be found lost in an exciting suspense novel, or seen roped in to the game show network, Everybody Loves Raymond or Dancing with the Stars. She was also a gifted crafter who delighted in making handmade treasures for her friends and family, always finding the perfect way to use her artwork to bring warmth and beauty to hers and Chuck’s home.
Terri shared a beautiful life with her loyal husband, Chuck Calcitrai. Throughout her battle with cancer, Chuck remained faithfully by her side, caring for her with extraordinary love, compassion, and unwavering dedication—a true testament to the vows he made 48 years ago.
Above all else, Terri treasured her family. She was the loving mother of Jason Calcitrai (Christa) and Natalie Callender. She was the proud and adoring grandmother of Tessa (17), Sadie (16), Charlie (12), Jackson (10), Jordan (8), and Brayden (4), each of whom brought immense joy to her life. She joins in eternity, her brother, Stanley C. Fiedorowicz and is survived by her loving sister, Aline (Bruce) Schultz along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Terri's smile, kindness, glitz, grace, and compassion will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched.
Though our hearts are hurting, we will carry her love and legacy with us always—in every family gathering, every cherished memory, and every moment we feel her presence in our hearts.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. Until we meet again…💞
Visitation will take place Friday, July 31, from 5 until 8pm at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, 6901 W Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60634. Funeral mass will take place on Saturday, August 1, 9:30am at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, 5900 W Barry Ave, Chicago, IL 60634. Burial to take place at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery.
