My deepest condolences to the family. Tom was always the brightest in the room. His smile and dance moves always shined brighter than others. He was kind,honest, but most of all he was real.

Tom and I when to same high school and he was there when I need friend to sit down at lunch with so I would be alone. He was true good friend from begin. I will truthfully miss him.

I know Tom from high school, from hanging out with my sister Sara, and just from the neighborhood. Tom was awesome. I remember being in I think environmental science with him in Ms Gavin’s class. It was weird being a Senior in a class full of Sophomores but I sat next to Tom and we became friends. He was so smart. And an all around good dude. I am so heartbroken for his family, including the friends that had the privilege of being so close to Tom. He was special. I bought his book of poems a while back but never got around to reading it. I know Tom is an excellent writer and that the book was something I knew I was going to need to take time with. I also knew it was going to be hard to read. And now it’s going to be even harder to read. Sending love to everyone that knew Tom. May he rest peacefully.

I've never met Thomas in person, but despite being nearly 2000 miles away, he managed to be one of the closest people to me. He was always there when I needed him, and had a wonderful way of making me thankful he was there even when I didn't. He was extremely charismatic, loyal, highly intelligent, and had a better sense of humor than anyone I've ever known. He was more reliable, and a better friend than anyone I've ever known in person. He had a way of touching anyone who ever spoke to him, and touched people's lives across the world. Tom was loved by all who knew him, and the world was truly a better place with him in it. Even all these miles away, life simply cannot be the same without him. My heart and soul goes out to a wonderful family that has already lost so much, and goes out to everyone who knew him. I hope you can all find the strength you need, and cherish all the amazing memories he has given us. I know I will certainly remember him every day for the rest of my life. I will miss you forever, Tom.

I'm so sorry for you're loss he was a good friend for almost 20 years. One of the few good people in my corner and wanted better for me.
