Dad, as I sit here tonight I want nothing more than to get your good night text. The boys and I miss you desperately but we know that you’re at peace and watching over us. I’ll keep your pilgrims happy if you can keep them safe for me. When I go to Cheyenne and see our rodeo, I’ll take you with me. You were the best dad any girl could ask for. Until I see you again, I love you so much.
Love,
Sarah aka Beekie

Big Daddy along with several other Rangers broke me in. Best Policemen I had the privilege to work with. Now your famous line at the District Xmas parties does full circle.....
"Hey Officer------ Andy McGann called and needs the suit back by 8"
RIP my brother. You watched over me and pulled me out several times. Know that I will do the same for yours at the end of the block

I had the pleasure of working with Tom when he came to the 004th district, a very witty man with a great perspective on Policing. Many laughs were shared making a day in the squad car palatable. My condolences to his family, Thank you for sharing him with us.

Tom and I knew each other in grammar school and worked together on the PD. We both had Mike Tunney for our Patrol Specialist. It’s a wonder Mike didn’t have a nervous breakdown training the both of us.
I remember when Tom introduced me to his fiancée Veronica and their children being born and our Meagan baby sitting my kids and his kids weddings.
Through good and bad days he was always the center of entertainment for us. Some of the greatest b-busting in the police dept. occurred in our unit and on our Fishing trips. We all had some great laughs. He really got me one morning with a rubber snake! SOB ! Lol
Know he’s in heaven with his Dad, friends and some great cops.
RIP Lawdog... see ya on the other side Pilgrim. Mags

My life will never be the same. You were the brother I never had and my dad reincarnated. I think of you or hear your name and a smile comes to my heart. 30 plus years of memories. The 005 district CPD, "fishing" trips, Tombstone AZ, Monument Valley, and of course Ireland, oh my God Ireland. Ryan's Pub is still trying to forget us. You are, and always will be, one of a kind my friend. We had more fun and memories then should be allowed in one lifetime. I will miss you the rest of my life. Here's to the Sunny Slopes of Long Ago. Rest well my friend.

I was very fortunate to meet Tom when we were both hired by the CPD in January of 1981. Class 81-1A. We had a lot of fun in the academy. Although our careers took us to different places, whenever we were fortunate enough to run into each other we always had a few laughs. Although he may be gone physically, he will always be in our hearts and minds. RIP Tom and my condolences to the Sheehan family.
