God Bless you Tim Finnegan, a man whose heart was bigger than his booming voice and charming personality. I am grateful our paths crossed, my life is richer for having known you. The memories may be fuzzy (especially ice fishing on Lake Geneva on NYE 19??), but the laughter and eternal smiles remain.

Tom was a good man. I enjoyed his company and listening to that deep voice of his. I joined the Shannon Rovers the same time as Tom, Tim and Laura Fischow. We had some good times. He’ll be missed.

Tim was a great friend. We travelled the world golfing and fishing for 
about 30 years. We made great beer for about 10 years. We did not always agree but we agreed to disagree.  We always had fun.

Tim was one of my first relief partners on the west side ambulances in the 80’s.  He was always great to work with and would bring a calm to hectic situations.

Tim was a wonderful and warm person who I got to know him as a member of the Big Foot Country Club. As stated in his obituary, Tim was larger than life and always had a smile of his face.  He was taken from us at too early of an age. I will miss him!

Timmy, it's all been said in your tribute, larger than life, always a smile, I can't think of a better person that we could have so much fun with and so much respect for than you. It was an honor to work with you on the Chicago fire department and be one of your classmates in the first crossover class, but most of all, and probably the best, was working the 20 Bear seasons at Soldier Field, being up in the southside sky boxes and the kitchen , the good times we had up there and even jumping in to help out run catering carts and food when you guys really got busy. Which was every game .
    Also then seeing your larger than life personality as a member of the Shannon Rovers during the many St. Patrick's Day parades we attended downtown.

We were truly delighted in getting to know Christine and Tim better at their lovely home in Fort Myers, Florida. There was a true sense of joy and laughter as one entered their home.
Christine had her feet firmly planted on hearth and home and Tim was on the road with energy, humor and laughter. We think their children and grandchildren are truly blessed to be descendants of such fine people . May they all hold firm to the best offerings.

Tim you were one of the best. You were a great man thank you and Larry Murray for being mentors to me when you were both on Ambulance 21.  You and Larry were 2 of the best medics I ever knew.  You were always funny and great to talked to whenever we worked together. Loved you playing the bagpipes and your wonderful voice. God bless you and your family. You were an inspiration to all of us younger guys and a great leader. As the irish prayer says "until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand."
