Tina C. Conte, 96, née Gioe, of Chicago. Passed away on Friday August 27, 2010 at Manor Care Nursing Home in Westmont, IL. Born in Chicago, IL on Thursday March 5, 1914 to Alfio and Caterina (née Montagnina) Gioe. Devoted wife of the late Joseph; beloved mother of the late Mary “Cookie” (and the late Joseph) Marino; cherished grandmother of Joseph (Michelle) Marino, Phillip (Renee) Marino and Tina Marie (Allen) Bailey; loving great grandmother of Santino, Frankie, Natalie and Olivia; dear sister of Katherine (and the late Roy) Serio; fond aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday August 31, 2010 from 3:00pm until 9:00pm at The Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home 6901 W. Belmont Avenue Chicago where prayers will be said 9:00am Wednesday September 1, 2010 to St. Edward Church (Sunnyside at Kostner) for a 10:00am mass of the resurrection. Entombment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove, IL.
