Veronica Mary Fontana

April 17, 1942 in Chicago, IL. She was the loving wife of the late Edward Fontana, devoted sister of Geraldine Molinari and wonderful mother to her three children which she had in 11 months!, Anthony Fontana, Debbie (Tony) Galizia, Sharon (Chris) Murphy. She was the generous and fun grandmother of Victoria, Nicholas, Gabriella and Sophia along with grand-dogs Nahla and Payton. She also cheerfully adopted and cared for many dogs delivered to her by our father! She loved going to all the Car Club shows and events with their friends over the years. Mom was a proud Italian American who loved our country and everything about it. Besides being a hands on mother, Roni was a Pharmacy Technician for Jacobs Drugs (now Omnicare) for over 30 years and volunteered for many of her children's and grandchildren's school and church activities. She always saw the best in people and was a fiercely loyal friend and ally. She lived a beautiful life and this World is better for knowing her. Mom, you will be missed.

A private burial was held on August 9th in accordance with her wishes. In lieu of flowers, you are welcome to donate in her name to Misericordia.com or OrphansOfTheStorm.Org
