Waclawa “Wanda” Skiba, age 98, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023. Adored wife to the late Eugeniusz Skiba. Beloved mother to Janusz “John” (Susan Joyce) Skiba, Zbigniew “Zbig” Skiba and Barbara (Jozef) Skiba-Poniatowski. Cherished grandmother to Aleksander and Jeremy.
Waclawa was a WWII Siberian Gulag Survivor, followed by years of living in British refugee camps in Uganda and Kenya.
Visitation for Waclawa "Wanda" will be on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, (Edward A. Tylka, Manager), 6000 North Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646.
