Obituary
William Edward Daniels (Billy) was born on January 28, 1955 to Walter
(Pete) and Delores. He was the third child of 11 children born to this
union. Three preceded him in death. Billy accepted Christ at a very early
age. Billy attended several churches over the years and joined St. Gregory
The Great Church in 2007. He loved making chicken noodle soup for the
parish.
Billy graduated from Carrie Jacob Bond Elementary School, Harper High
School and College of Automation where he received his Associates
Degree in Business.
Billy worked at several companies after graduation including American
Can Company and Home Insurance. His last employer was AmTrak where
he spent 22 years being a Train Attendant and providing training to new
hires which he absolutely loved.
Billy's son, Raymond Lamont was born in 1975. Billy met Eunice Tolbert at
Home Insurance in 1979. They were married in 1980 and have enjoyed 32
years of marriage. From this union, Tempris Elaine was born in 1991.
Billy was extremely proud of his children. He was very active in their lives
by attending sports events, going on family cruises, and speaking very
highly of their accomplishments to those around him.
Billy enjoyed sports especially football, softball and volleyball. He was an
intense Greenbay Packers fan. He was a captain of several teams over the
years. He loved going to Las Vegas, taking cruises and sharing meals with
family and friends. He was a great cook and was outstanding on the
barbecue grill. Billy really enjoyed old school music and dusties. He and
his brothers started a singing group “The Shadows of Love.” His brothers
and friends gave him the nickname “Duff.”
Billy leaves to cherish his life his loving wife, Eunice, children, Raymond
(Jessie) and Tempris, grandson, Caleb, brothers, Jimmie (Gale), Walter
(Theresa), Arthur (Joyce), Tony, Michael, David, and Larry, sister Ingrid,
