I was deeply saddened when I found out about Big Bill Passing away.
I spent the last five years of my time on the Fire Department working with Bill. He was the Captain of the Engine and I was the Lieutenant of the Truck Company. We were not only partners but he and I were very close friends. 
Bill was a giant of a man and had a heart as big as he was.
We shared many fun moments, as he had a wonderful sense of humor. 
Bill was a genuine Gentleman and I enjoyed every moment that we worked together.

I hurt so much for you. The loss of Bill is so enormous. What a good man!  I don't know of any other person who did so much brave, life-saving work but was so reluctant to take any credit or praise for it.  He is the definition of a hero. What an real and honest legacy he has left for all of us. You will be in my prayers.

Our condolences to the Krzyzewski family from the Reddy family.  We remember "Big Bill" fondly for many reasons but mostly because of his dedication to the CFD and Local 2.
