Yung Kay was born on May 16, 1928 in Hong Kong. He served as an administrative clerk at Taikoo Dockyard in Hong Kong for 30 years. He moved to the US in 1983 where he was a part of various ventures in the restaurant industry. He moved to Chicago in 1990 where he retired at 62.
Yung Kay led a physically active life. He played soccer in his youth, and enjoyed dancing, martial arts, badminton, and exercising even well in his later years.
Yung Kay was preceded in death by his loving wife Mee Ying Lo and son Raymond Wing Chau Lo.
Yung Kay is survived by son Jerry Ng and his wife Louisa Ng, and daughter Ellen Lo and her husband Danny Yu. He was the grandfather of Krystal Ng-Soardi (and husband Michele Soardi) and Halanna Yuh. He is also survived by his sister See Ling Lo (and husband J.L. Lee).
Yung Kay will rest at Rosehill Cemetery in Chicago, IL. He was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather whose vibrant light will shine forever in the hearts of his loved ones.
