Mrs. Betty Lawrence Jones, age 71 of Childersburg, passed away Friday, February 5, 2016 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 9 at Childersburg First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ronnie Forbus and Rev. Amy Vaughn officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 9 from 12:30-2 at the Church.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Jones; daughter, Kitty Forbus and husband Ronnie; grandson, Brannon Forbus; granddaughter, Riley Forbus; brother-in-law, Bud Jones; sister-in-law, Mary Evelyn Tucker and a host of nieces and nephews.
