Billy J. Ogle Sr.

Funeral service for Billy Joe Ogle Sr. will be Monday, January 23, 2017 at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel at 11AM with Dr. Bill Pruitt and Dr. Skip Parvin officiating. Burial will follow at Midway Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel from 5-8PM

Mr. Ogle passed away on January 19, 2017 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents: Lyman and Vinnie Lou Ogle, brothers: Clyde Ogle and Earl Ogle, and his late wife: Mary Ogle. He was a US Air Force Veteran and a member of the First Baptist Church in Childersburg. He was retired and enjoyed fishing and gardening. Mr. Ogle is survived by his wife Bobby Sue Ogle, daughter: Donna Myers (David), step-daughters: Cindy Ruffier (Jose), Martha Polk, Mary Jo Campbell, Prissy Hill (Charles), his son: Joey Ogle (Suzie), step-sons: Marc Billingsley (Anita), Mark Campbell, John Campbell (Debbie), French Campbell, Tommy Campbell (Frances), brother: Charles Ogle, sisters: Willie Lou Moore and Helen Davis, 24 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Matt Myers, Mason Myers, Corey Weldon, Hunter Billingsley, Brad Dennis and Jansen Miller. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society and the family would like to give special thanks to Coosa Valley Hematology Oncology and Coosa Valley Hospice and to the First Baptist Church of Childersburg for all their prayers.
