Brenda was born on May 8, 1949 in Alabama to Jackie and Otis Clark. She was a beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, aunt, sibling and cherished friend to many.
Brenda was a spit fire of a woman and she loved God. She brought that fiery spirit to everything she did, especially during her years working at Home Depot, where she took pride in her work and formed lasting friendships before retiring. Brenda had a deep love for Elvis, the beach, and the joy of spending time with her family. She was a movie enthusiast but she loved Christmas movies the most. She was a lover of animals through and through, especially her dog, Toby. Her laughter and sass will be remembered by everyone lucky enough to know her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jackie Clark, father, Otis Clark, brother, Roger Clark, brother-in-law, Mickey McKenzie and cousin, Cynthia.
She is survived by her children, Teresa Mitchell (Coby), Sam Vickery (Michelle), sister, Holley McKenzie,, grandchildren, Corbin, Cote, Tori (Blake), Blaine, Hunter, Matt (Ashlyn), great grandchildren, Kennedy (Tori), Addalyn (Cote), Jackson, Ryan, Lillian (Matt) along with many other family and friends.
A visitation for Brenda will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Childersburg Chapel. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 1:00 PM at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, AL.
