Mr. David Thomas Fields, age 62, died Saturday, September 11, 2010. He was a painter by trade. He was preceded in death by two children: Angie Wood and David "Bubba" Fields. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Thrash of Sylacauga, and a son Israel T. Fields of Sylacauga; 4 brothers and 4 sisters, as well as numerous grandchildren. Visitiation will be held on Monday, September 13, 2010 at the Childersburg Chapel at 10:30 am. Funeral service will be held that afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the Childersburg Chapel with the Reverend Wayne McDaniel officiating. The family will accept flowers, or donations may be made to help defray the costs of the funeral.
