Funeral service for Douglas Wren Floyd, age 71, of Syl;acauga will be Sunday, May 10, 2015 at 2PM at Grace Baptist Church with the Reverend Frank Thompson and Leonard Southern officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery. He was preceded in death by parents: Zeddie and Katie Floyd and brothers: Donald Floyd and J.W. Floyd. He retired from Floyd and Beasley after 47 years and volunteered much of his time at the ballfield where the kids knew him as PawPaw Doug. He is survived by his Wife: Jan Floyd, Son: Rusty Floyd, Daughters: Penny Floyd and Misty Floyd Ricks, Grandchildren: Justin Floyd, Matthew Floyd, Trent Floyd, Jake Milam, Maccoy Milam and Great Grandchildren: Layken Floyd, Remington Milam. Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel will direct services.
