Funeral services for Gary Jason Armstrong, age 38 of Vincent, will be Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel with Rev. Russell Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Vincent Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 1 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. He passed away July 30, 2018 at UAB. He is survived by his children, Paisley Armstrong, Zac Armstrong, Jacob Armstrong; children’s mother, Stephanie Armstrong; mother, Gail Parsons; father, Gary Armstrong (Phyllis); sister, Loni Cummings (Allen); brother, Devin Armstrong; grandmothers, Mandy Smith and Peggy Armstrong; niece, Bell Boothe; nephew, Monroe Boothe; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jim Parsons; grandparents, G.W. Armstrong, Charles McDonald, Eula Lee Armstrong; great grandmother, Julia Bell Mitchell.
