Graveside service for Mattie Louise Rice, age 84, of Sylacauga will be Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 11AM at Greenhill Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Sonny Champion officiating. She was preceded in death by: Husband: Malcolm Rice, father: John L. Shaw, Mother Carrie D. Shaw, one Sister, three brothers, one grandson and she was a member of St. Andrews Methodist Church. She was survived by her Son: James (Mike) Rice & wife Karyl of Pelham, (2) Daughters: Janice Rice Gaither & husband Glen of Talladega, Linda Rice Williams of Fortson, GA, (4) Brothers: Calvin Shaw & Wife Delores of Childersburg, LeRoy Shaw & wife Margaret of Eclectic, Albert D. Shaw of Saks, Raymond Shaw & wife Judy of Sylacauga, Sister: Ruby Melton of Childersburg, (5) Grandchildren and (7) Great Grandchildren. Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg Chapel will direct the services.
