Pamela Lenise Crowder

On Monday, June 8th, 2026, Pamela Lenise Crowder (Pam) left this side of eternity and stepped into the presence of her Lord and Savior. She was born on Oct. 28, 1968 to Marilyn Ann and Robert Atkinson Sr. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Atkinson Sr.; her sister Jan Buchanan, and her son Justin Michael Crowder.

She is survived by her mother Marilyn Ann McClurg; sisters Barbara Buchanan, Susan Clark, and Patricia Kirkland; brother Robert Atkinson Jr.; her husband Rick Crowder; her beloved children: Hannah Crowder, Tabitha Crowder, Jeffrey Crowder, Tammy Ann (Annie) Atkinson, Rose Burley and numerous “bonus children” that always knew that they had not only a place at her table but in her heart.

Pam was a devoted mother to her children, wife to her husband and friend to many in the community - whether you met her at her job or at church, or perhaps you were one of the lucky ones and had the privilege of growing up with her in school.

One thing for certain about Pam was the fact she was loyal to you. If she called you friend, you knew there was one person you could count on when things went south. She was a natural born leader: from rocking the tenor Sax in the band in high school, to managing retail in her professional life, or leading her family to church and making sure they had a foundation in Christ. Pam will be sorely missed by everyone her life touched.

Visitation will be held at Curtis and Son Funeral Home, Childersburg Chapel, 1099 1st St NW, Childersburg, Alabama 35044, on June 13, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, with the Funeral Service following at the same location at 2:00 pm.

Pamela will be laid to rest at Vincent City Cemetery in Vincent.
