Patricia Limbaugh Kallenbach, of Childersburg, Known as “Chick” to her grandchildren and friends, short for Hip Granny Chick, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church in Childersburg with burial to follow at Greenhill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 18 from 5-8 PM at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel.
She is survived by her husband Bill Kallenbach, brother, Bob Limbaugh (Nita) of Sycamore; sister, Sue Robbins (Ray) of Talladega; brother, Dan Limbaugh (Pat) of Auburn; three daughters, Kim Hayes (Robbie) of Chelsea, Kay McCain (Ronnie) of Childersburg and Kris Logan (Brad) of Childersburg; grandchildren, PJ Ford (Austin) of Pelham, Tiffany Hayes, Will Hayes, Hunter McCain, Kallen McCain, Peyton Logan (Marisa, fiancee), and Ryan Logan.
Patricia was a Childersburg High School Graduate class of 1959 and also attended one year at Snead Private College. She worked at Limbaugh Hardware, Dr. P. Duncan Roy, and was a Talladega County Substitute teacher. She was a member of the Childersburg Garden Club and a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church of Childersburg. She visited all 50 states. She loved the beach, reading, Alabama football and was frequently at grandkids multiple activities. Pat was at all times kind and dependable and always with a smile.
Pallbearers will be Peyton Logan, Hunter McCain, Will Hayes, Kallen McCain, Ryan Logan and Austin Ford.
