Mr. Roy Dalton Maddox

Graveside service for Roy Dalton Maddox, 58, will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Kahatchie Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Johnson officiating. Mr. Maddox died May 16, 2010 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton J. and Nina Maddox; and brother, Herman Maddox. He was retired from Georgia Pacific and he was a farmer. Survivors are his wife, Mary Maddox of Childersburg; brother Bruce (Jennifer) Maddox of Childersburg; brother-in-law, Robert Thrasher of Childersburg; sister-in-law, Donna Maddox of Childersburg, nephews, Marc Maddox of Augusta, Ga., Drew Maddox and Clint Maddox both of Childersburg; and nieces, Amy Polland of Sylacauga, Kerri Anderson and Kellie Lansford both of Childersburg; and nine great-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel. Condolences may be offered at www.curtisandsonfunerals.com.
