Funeral services for Ruby Beatrice Melton, age 96 of Sylacauga, will be Friday, July 1, 2016 at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel at 2:30 PM with Rev. Leroy Shaw and Rev. Calvin Shaw officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Friday from 1:30-2:30 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Melton passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Coosa Valley Medical Center.
She is survived by her children, Gary (Faye) Melton of Georgia, Dale (Judy) Melton of Fairhope, Gabriel (Eve) Melton of Childersburg, Judy (Jimmy) Cook of Cedartown, GA, and June (Phil) Lassiter of Hoover; brothers, Calvin Shaw, Leroy Shaw, A.D. Shaw, and Raymond Shaw; host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Melton and son, Ronald Zane Melton.
