I only recently learned of Diane's passing.   Sometimes we loose track of our dearest friends only to find heartbreak and the end of the search.  I would like to extend my heart felt thoughts to her family and in the passing of Gregg.  They were both wonderful people.

i miss you so much there isn't a minute that goes by that i don't think of you. i catch myself crying constantly i know you wouldn't want me to but my heart aches that my best friend isn't here any more i don't have you to talk to and still learn and grow from. you would have loved Cheyenne momma she's perfect !!! (Opposite of me) i got so blessed !!!! i talk to her all the time about you! i gave her you're middle name as hers !!! i wrote her a note about u so she can always read it and know about her grandma smith!!! I know you were our angel over us as i was in that delivery room. and as i hemoriged and needed u there holding my hand. i pray to god every night that he keep you as Cheyennes angel to always watch over her!!!! i asked robin the other day how dad was doing she said he's keeping active around the house...its never been the same going there without seeing you're beautiful face. o god mom i miss you so much i love you!! rest in peace mom you're in gods hands and pain free with you're dad , you're brother, and aunt carla. i love and miss you all!

I met Diane when I was working at the CEFCU Sunnyland Drive-up from 1988-1991 loved hearing about the daycare & the children she watched. Diane has a great personality & was always a smile. The lord took her away too soon. Prayers to her family during this difficult time.

Diane was a wonderful person. Her & Greg help us get another car which happen to be her mother car. We will miss you Diane. She was an amazing woman.

Diane you will be greatly missed. You watched over 3 of our children as if they were your own. Paige grew up in your home since she was 6 weeks old and knew just as much love in your home as ours. You are going home to continue to watch over the children in heaven as you did with all of our children during the years. You will be missed but never forgotten. I can't express the sadness I felt when I heard the news. An awesome person left us to go onto better things. I am happy you are not suffering anymore and can finally be pain free. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

I will forever remember growing up with Diane. Even though we have been apart for many years she has always been remembered as my best friend..
Knowing her parents and brother was a great blessing to me. We had so many wonderful times together. .

Diane was our FIRST daycare provider for our oldest daughter.  She started at Diane's on November 9, 1987.  It was the hardest and happiest day for me as a first time parent.  She continued to care for Ashley until we had our second daughter in 1989.  Both girls had the pleasure of going back to Diane's after we moved from Washington to Morton for about a year.  I couldn't bear to put them anyplace else because Diane was such a WONDERFUL Provider.  When she and Greg brought home those two adorable little girls I remember how happy she was.  
Diane you will always be a special part of our lives and we have been praying for your family since we heard of your illness.  Blessings to Greg and the girls.

We would like to offer our most sincere sympathy to the Smith family with the passing of Diane. She cared for two of our children for some time at her daycare. She was such a kind and caring person and it was obvious how much she loved her work as well as our kids. They always loved being with her and our daughter still speaks of Di-Di, even though she hasn't seen her since the beginning of Diane's illness. We hope for peace for your family in the coming days and always.

I only met "Di-Di" once at my Grand daughter's birthday party.  I will forever be grateful to her for taking such good care of my Grand daughter, Addison. She went the extra mile and even feed Addison with an eye dropper when she was a newborn as she would not take a bottle. My condolences to her family.

Diane you will be missed... The kids loved coming to your daycare and my daughter still wants to come... You will be missed and you have 2 daughters who will bloom and grow because of you.  I miss you and glad you are in heaven where you can watch more kids haha... To your husband and family left behind they will need you to watch over them and let them know it will be ok... Will see you again someday... Love you all....

I love you so much momma, you were the best mother a girl could ask for! You taught me so much and i hope to be atleast half the woman you were. I hope to raise my daughter the way you raised me. I Miss you so much everyday that goes by doesnt seem like its going to get easier, but i know that you are my angel guiding me through life standing right by my side. You get to be with your dad now and aunt carla, i know how much you missed them and now you get to be with each other! I miss you , I love you. I Am helping look over dad! I never thought id be here without my best friend, you were there for me through everything you never left my side. No matter how much of a brat i was, You still loved me. I have the rose they left it youre place when you went to heaven and i want you to know that i took that rose and its going to be with me when i give birth to youre beautiful grand-daughter, Its going to be with me at the baby shower. Ill always have a part of you with me and Cheyenne. I hope you know that Cheyenne will always carry a part of you we are naming her Cheyenne Eileen-Faith Link. Youre Middle Name and Faith for everything you have went through i knew you carried faith with you the entire way through. Diane was a wonderful, warm-hearted woman who put her family before anything and was very generous and caring to anyone she met. I am proud to call her daughter Amanda one of my best friends because Diane raised her to be such a good woman, just like she was herself. Rest in peace Diane. You will be missed.
