Al grew up in Lethbridge, Alberta. He joined the RCMP in Regina, where he met Betty. They were married for 60 years and have two sons, Randal and Lorne. Al formed Al's Supply in Chilliwack, later retired. He was an active memeber of the Kiwanis Club in Chilliwack.
A small Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Shannon United Church on Yale Road in Chilliwack.
