OBITUARY
Archie "Scrub" BOULE
October 13, 1926 – January 20, 2022

IN THE CARE OF
Henderson's Funeral Homes & Crematorium
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Dad, Grandfather and Great Grandfather, Archie, affectionately known as “Scrub”, on Thursday, January 20th, 2022 at Cascade Lodge.
Archie was born in Chilliwack, grew up on a dairy farm in Rosedale, and had lived in this area all of his 95 years. He had various equipment operator jobs throughout his life, and retired in 1989 from the District of Chilliwack. After retirement he took on his new job – golfing, and loved to spend almost every day at Kinkora Golf course, and was able to golf up until his 90th birthday. He always had a humorous story to tell, and he had many of them after living so long in the area.
Archie leaves behind his daughter Rhonda (Jerry), son Rod (Joan), grandchildren Leanne (Konrad), Steven (Carmen), Rick (Taryn), Shannon, Scott (Montana), 8 great grandchildren, sister-in-law Shirley Sellers, and brother-in-law Bill and Betty Ford.
He was predeceased by his parents, brother and sister, and his wife, Jane in 2013.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Cascade Lodge and the Lynwood for their care of Archie over the past few years.
There is no service by request. If any so desire, in lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Society.
