Bertha Geres Freimuth

Bertha is survived by her loving daughter Shirley Anne (Stuart) Vander Kooi; grandchildren Cindy (David), Allan (Leanne), Nancy, and Darin (Michelle); great grandchildren Brandt, Courtney, Morgan, Ethan, Karlee, Joey, Jenna and Jax. She also leaves her brother, Gary Geres.

Bertha was sadly predeceased by her first husband, Abe Harms is 1965, second husband John Freimuth in 1999, three brothers and three sisters.

Bertha proudly worked hard all her life both inside and outside the home. She was willing to do anything, from housekeeping to milking cows, and loved to tell her family about her many life experiences. Her favourite things were gardening, cooking and baking. She kept a beautiful home, loved to entertain and be surrounded by family and friends. She will be greatly missed, but can now enjoy a peaceful rest in Heaven.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Bradley Centre for their care and support over the last six months.

A Memorial Service for Bertha will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 11:00 AM from Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Avenue, Chilliwack, BC.
