Brian Nelson Holloway

Brian Nelson Holloway of Clearwater, BC passed away on December 4, 2024 at the age of 54. He was born on August 16, 1970 in Scarborough, Ontario and grew up in Sapperton, New Westminster BC. He attended New Westminster Secondary School and graduated in 1988. As a career he worked as a cabinet finisher and then later an industrial painter. Brian’s passions were sports and he was an avid Blue Jays fan.

Brian is predeceased by his father Gilbert Holloway; brother Gary Saunders; and uncle Sterling Holloway. He is lovingly remembered by his mother Angela Holloway; wife Mavis Emes; daughter Melissa Holloway (Travis Budge); son Andrew Holloway; grandchildren Hunter, Alex, Bobby-Lynn; Sisters Lorraine Moss and Donna Felthem, and brother Jeffrey Holloway. 

Brian was a Sapperton boy and only 15 years old when he met his uptown girl “Mavis” who was 16 years old at the time. They spent the next 39 years together making beautiful memories right up to his final days.

The family would like to thank the Clearwater Paramedics for their kindness, care and compassion they showed.

Brian’s final message to family and friends are “Travel and live life to the fullest and eat the damn dessert”
