With heavy hearts, we announce that our beloved husband, father, and papa, Carson Wayne Mosser, gained his wings on September 16, 2025.
Carson was born on August 25, 1948, in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, to parents Joseph and Yvette Mosser. The second oldest of his siblings, he grew up on the family farm, spending his days doing all the things young boys love to do.
As a teenager, Carson’s curiosity and time spent under the hood of a car with his dad sparked a lifelong passion for automobiles. Following this interest, he pursued a career in the auto body industry. After completing his education in Richmond, B.C., he proudly restored his first car — a bright yellow 1957 Chevy Bel Air.
Not long after, he met the love of his life, Linda, on a blind date — and the rest, as they say, is history.
Of all the adventures they shared, the greatest joy of his life was becoming a father to their two daughters, Kari (Chris) and Kelli (Robert), whom he loved with all his heart. Carson dedicated himself fully to his family, always ensuring they had everything they needed — and more.
While raising his family in Hope, B.C., and working for Emil Anderson Construction, Carson also served as a volunteer firefighter with the Silver Creek Fire Department. There, he formed deep friendships and created lasting memories.
A true outdoorsman and sports enthusiast, Carson was often found playing baseball, skating, boating, hunting with his dad and fishing with his boys on the Vedder River.
He also loved to take his wife camping in some of their favourite spots in Osoyoos or exploring the open road on his motorcycle, Spydy.
He was a proud member and owner of the hockey team, the Ice Dawgs, he never missed a chance to lace up his skates.
Life brought more joy when he and Linda moved to Agassiz, B.C., where they discovered new passions and grew their circle of love. Becoming a papa to Nolan, Sierra, Wesley, and Kyran, and later a great-grandpa to Miles, were the greatest gifts of all.
Carson’s final years were spent in Chilliwack, B.C., surrounded by family and friends, living each day to the fullest, and cherishing every moment. His last days were filled with travel across beautiful British Columbia — soaking in the life he built and loved. He was surrounded by so much love.
Through his endless love, generosity, loyalty, and devotion, Carson’s spirit lives on in all of us. As we gather to celebrate his life, we invite you to open your hearts and minds in honour of a remarkable husband, father, papa, and friend.
Until we meet again...
Xx
