

He is survived by his loving wife Winnie, of 62 years and his sons, Danny (Michelle), Kevin, John (Sandra) and Michael (April). He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Corrina, Paul, Fran, Brendan, Spencer, Cole, Riley, Madison, Liam and Callan. Charlie was predeceased by his beloved son Paul in 1982.
Charlie was a bricklayer by trade and in 1974 it brought him and his family out to Canada from Scotland. Charlie always said, it was the best move they ever made. Charlie had 2 great passions in his life. His first was his family. He absolutely adored his wife Winnie. Their love was something everyone admired. Charlie’s love for his kids and grandkids, was endless. They could do no wrong is his eyes.
His second passion was the Celtic Football Team. The green and white hoops were seen all over the Breslin household. Charlie and his boys would wake up at all hours to watch their favourite team.

Charlie had the kindest and most gentle nature. He always had a listening ear and made you feel like, “You Are The Best!” He will be dearly missed but never forgotten. May he rest in peace.
A funeral service for Charlie will be held Friday, July 28, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at St Ann's Catholic Church, 33333 Mayfair Ave, Abbotsford, BC V2S 3H7. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Hazelwood Cemetery, 34070 Hazelwood Ave, Abbotsford, BC V2S 7R1.
