

Christine Marie McDonald passed away peacefully after battling cancer on August 8th, 2024, at the Abbotsford Regional Health Care Center at the age of 60. She was born on February 22nd, 1964, in Pembroke, Ontario, and lived most of her life in Alberta (Fort McMurray) and British Columbia (Tumbler Ridge, Chilliwack).
Christine is survived by her loving husband Kane Brisseau, her daughter Hilary Payne (Miles), and her cherished grandchildren Kayden and Jaxon. She will be deeply missed by her sisters Deborah Hartwick (Dave) of Mountain Grove, Ontario, Karen Tryon (Roger) of Kaladar, Ontario, and her brother John Hole (Elizabeth) of Grand Forks, British Columbia. She is also survived by her sister-in-laws Laurie Gillick (Greg) of Coquitlam, British Columbia, and Debbie Barnett of Chilliwack, British Columbia, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Christine was predeceased by her parents William "Bill" and Thelma Jean Hole, her brother-in-law Kirk, and her niece Heather and nephew Caleb. The family wishes to thank all the nurses and doctors at ARHCC for their compassion and kind words during her time in the hospital. Cremation will take place, and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
