Cliff was born on September 23rd, 1938 in Chilliwack, BC to his parents Tom Jones & Vivien Jones (Hargrove). He was the third of eight children, although his sister Pearl passed away suddenly during infancy. His siblings have many fond, memorable memories of growing up with Cliff on their home on Promontory Hill, as well as throughout the years.
Cliff loved to sing with his brothers and sisters and was part of the Salvation Army band for a number of years.
At the age of 26, Cliff met a young lady to whom he would marry on July 1st, 1967 in Bellingham Washington. Her name was Judy Faye Ross. Cliff & Judy went on to have 4 children, whom both remained devoted to, and loved dearly.
Cliff got a job working as a taxi driver with Bob's cabs, before moving onto working as a driver instructor/trainer/examiner, as well as a transport driver at the Chilliwack Army Base. He always took pride in his job, and loved being behind the wheel of an 18-wheeler. He continued working at at the Chilliwack Army Base until he took a fall on the job that broke his back. During his time working at the army base, Cliff & Judy moved onto the property where they would settle & raise their family. Cliff remained there with his son John for the remainder of his life after Judy passed away.
Cliff was a family man and enjoyed traveling down to Bellingham to spend a few days with his sisters, brother in-law, and various other family/friends. He was known to help his family to medical appointments, and take them shopping and help out in any way that he could. Cliffs love to drive and travel with his family resulted in many, many memorable trips full of family, friends and lots of laughter.
Cliff has been a loving father & grandfather to his 4 children and 7 grandchildren, whom he loved dearly. Cliff often displayed the artwork from his grandchildren on his walls for years after receiving it, as well as attending sports events when he could.

The last year had been one filled with many health challenges for Cliff. It seemed that he had one challenge after another, but through the whole time he never complained, and faced each new challenge with a bright, cheery humorous attitude. He always had one family member or another by his side during the challenges and his love for his children shone through in his own way.
Whenever a person asks family members about memories of Cliff, they are often memories involving family, friends, laughter and the unexpected! He was well known for his cheerful personality, even during times of hard challenges. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten and will continue to live on in the hearts and memories for years to come.
