Doris Louisa Yeomans went to be with the Lord on February 19, 2011 at Menno Hospital, Abbotsford at the age of 90 years.
Louisa was born on April 30, 1920 in Parkbeg, Saskatchewan to Barbara and Stanley Hart. Louisa grew up on the family farm and attended a one room school house. In 1942, she married Clarence Yeomans and they lived in the Vancouver and Fraser Valley areas for most of their 62 year marriage.
Louisa is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Sharon (Ken) MacDonald, of Calgary; sons, Bryant (Bev) Yeomans of Chilliwack and Paul (Bonnie) Yeomans, Abbotsford; eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was sadly predeceased by Clarence in 2004, her brother, Edward Hart and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 25, 2011 at Abbotsford Christian Assembly, 3970 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford, BC; Reverend Dave McElhoes officiating.
